I pick a crackling dry leaf, and tell myself I am not a tree,
I shan't be shedding drying leaves, for they when green had nurtured me;
A lone old lady hobbles by, picks and gnaws a juicy fruit
'Hear, those who shed our crackling kind,the tree's our shelter, that's our truth'
